Skirt, Wine And Louis Armstrong is about being absolutely "fine", drinking too much wine and trying your very best to stay completely elegant. It is about a woman, a woman being choked by layers and being at the same place at the same time every bloody day, with only the light from her lamp to keep her awake against the grey outside. To abide by rules, and stay absolutely "fine".
